PROception 4 Way UHF Amplifier with Return Path – feature summary

•  Dual-mode 4-way UHF distribution amplifier with automatic mode selection.
•  Excellent input filtering below 470 MHz to reduce the risk of interference problems from CB, PMR, TETRA, etc.
•  New compact moulded housing with discreet black finish. Suitable for installation in a confined space.
•  Ideal for digital and analogue applications Freeview and/or Sky – ready for DSO.
•  Two-colour LED power and mode indicator.

Operation summary – Mode 1 (aerial amplifier mode, green LED indication)

•  Return-path and remote control functions disabled in this mode. No ‘eye power’ present on outputs.
•  Mode selected by powering the amplifier on any output, or on the local DC power port.
•  5 to 15 V power supply range allows powering from DVB-T receivers with 5 V ‘antenna power’ capability, traditional 12 V power units such as proPSU11F, or local proPSA123 power adaptor.
•  Use this mode for the multi-digital household where Sky remote control is not required.

Operation summary – Mode 2 (return-path mode, orange LED indication)

•  Return-path and remote control functions enabled; ‘eye power’ present on all outputs.
•  Mode selected by powering the amplifier via its input from satellite receiver or PVR.
•  Complete system including four IR ‘eyes’ can be powered from the satellite receiver.
•  ‘Eye power’ provided at each output. Compatible with PROception proSAT1EYE.
•  Use this mode when distributing from Sky ‘second outlet’ and remote control is required.

Power adaptor NOT supplied for terrestrial use - not required for Sky Digital use.
